Mikros Systems Corporation Announces Receipt of Additional U.S. Navy Funding

Mikros Systems Corporation (OTCBB: MKRS), Princeton, New Jersey, October 19, 2007 --  Mikros Systems Corporation announced today the receipt of additional U.S. Navy funding for continued development of the AIRchitect-EMC “interference-aware” wireless network design tool.  A modification to the existing Mikros RWSE (Radar Wireless Spectral Efficiency) Phase II SBIR contract provides an additional $900,000 to support new feature upgrades to the AIRchitect-EMC software, including full three-dimensional modeling capabilities.

Mikros has teamed with subcontractor Mobilisa Inc. to incorporate EMC analysis capabilities into the AIRchitect network design and optimization tool.  AIRchitect-EMC is the first design tool to incorporate the standard Joint Spectrum Center (JSC) JEET database and interference analysis algorithms.  The resulting software, AIRchitect-EMC, is designed for use by USN and USMC network planners to optimize network Access Point placement while avoiding interference with critical shipboard systems.
