Mikros Systems Awarded SBIR
Phase I Contract

Mikros Systems Corporation (BULLETIN BOARD: MKRS)
announced the award of a Small Business Innovation
Research (SBIR) Phase I contract from the Office of
Naval Research.
Valued at approximately $100,000, the contract is for
researching and evaluating techniques to minimize
interference between the U.S. Navy radar and wireless
communication systems.
Mikros is teamed with DRS Technologies (DRS) of
Parsippany, New Jersey, the manufacturer of the
AN/SPS-67 radar which will be used as the first test
case for study.
Mikros President Thomas J. Meaney stated that this is
another opportunity of combining the talents of a small
business with the extensive radar system expertise of
DRS Technologies, a leading supplier of defense
electronic products and systems.
