Seaport Enhanced (SeaPort-e) was developed by Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) to provide a faster, more efficient method of contracting for professional support services, such as Engineering, Financial, and Program Management services.  Through the use of electronic procurement, SeaPort-e provides a standardized approach for issuing competitive solicitations among an approved selection of contractors.  Mikros Systems was awarded a contract through SeaPort-e in June 2008.  The target customers of SeaPort-e are NAVSEA, Naval Air System Command (NAVAIR), Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command (SPAWAR), Naval Supply Systems Command, Military Sealift Command, Naval Facilities Command, Strategic Systems Programs, Office of Naval Research (ONR), U.S. Marine Corps, and Defense Threat Reduction Agency.
